AI Processing and Output Notice

The Copilot helps you organise, translate, review, and draft career-related material. It works from information you provide: facts you enter, facts you explicitly confirm before generation, your exercise responses, and the destination you choose for the result.

• Professional history and role information you enter.
• Job targets and the direction you are pursuing.
• Accomplishments and responsibilities you describe.
• Your career-break narrative, in the words you choose.
• Networking and application context you provide.
• Your edits and confirmations.

The product is built against a provider-neutral AI adapter. Our current production AI provider is Groq. When you generate a draft, selected content you have confirmed is sent to that contracted provider to generate it. Only the specific facts required for the request are sent — not your whole account.

• Every generated draft is shown to you for review before anything is saved.
• You can edit any part of the output.
• You choose whether to save it, and where it is saved.
• Provenance markers distinguish facts you confirmed, suggestions the Copilot produced, and lines that need your verification.
• No AI action can mark your content verified — only you can.

Before you use any generated text, check it against reality. In particular verify:

• employers, job titles, and dates;
• credentials, degrees, and certifications;
• metrics, results, and achievements;
• compensation figures;
• names, relationships, and references;
• any legal or regulatory statement.

• Social Security numbers, bank or card details, or government ID numbers.
• Passwords or authentication codes.
• Medical records.
• Another person's private information without their permission.
• Confidential employer trade secrets, or anything a contract or law prohibits you from sharing.

• AI output can be incomplete, incorrect, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for your situation.
• It is not legal, employment, financial, tax, medical, or mental-health advice.
• It does not guarantee that an employer will accept or respond to anything.
• It does not replace your judgement or, where appropriate, professional review.

You may not use the Copilot to knowingly fabricate employment history, degrees, credentials, awards, achievements, performance metrics, job offers, references, or professional relationships. The product is designed to flag statements that your confirmed facts do not support, and those statements cannot be marked verified or complete.

Generation can fail or be refused. You may see:

• a rate limit, if you generate many drafts in a short period;
• a rejected result, if the response does not match the expected structure;
• a provider outage or network failure;
• a safety refusal;
• a request for more information, if your confirmed facts are not sufficient.

A failed generation is always reported as a failure — never presented as a successful result — and your entered facts are preserved so you can retry.
